This adaptation of the classic Greek tale Helen of Troy alters several aspects of the original legend. Notably, the Greek gods are almost absent, and Helen is portrayed without children. Additionally, Cassandra’s prophetic powers are left unexplained. Instead, the series frames the story as a harsh historical event, downplaying the supernatural elements in favour of a more grounded, if brutal, approach.
