The main setting for Casque Bleu is the now-closed Comino Hotel, more accurately the Comino Hotel Bungalows, which can be found in San Niklaw Bay. The main hotel was in Santa Marija Bay. Built in the 1960s by controversial British businessman John Gaul, the complex closed in either 2019 or 2022 (sources vary). There are plans for the hotel and bungalows to be demolished and replaced by Six Senses Comino, which is due to open in 2027.
