Christopher Columbus has a dream to find an alternative route to sail to the Indies, by travelling westwards instead of east. After he fails to get financial backing in Portugal, he asks King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain to support his voyage. After getting their blessing, he sets sail with three ships and must deal with sabotage and rebellion along the way.
