Synopsis

Lucille and Joe have relocated to Gozo, a serene Mediterranean island off Malta’s coast. There, they enjoy a comfortable life with a lovely car, steady incomes, a stunning farmhouse, and a sparkling pool. Everything seems perfect—until a young tourist vanishes. As Joe’s troubled conscience awakens and their dark past comes to light, cracks start to appear in their seemingly perfect paradise.

Much of the film plays out around Xlendi, from Lucille’s walk past the shuttered restaurants to her scuba trip out of the bay. If you want to follow her lead, you can stay a few steps from the water in Xlendi and book a boat or dive trip from the bay.
