Les Loupes Entre Eux

Synopsis
General Lee W. Simon is kidnapped at dawn, and with him go the secrets of NATO’s entire Mediterranean defence strategy. He is tracked to a supposedly friendly camp across the sea, where the clock is ticking on how long he can hold out under pressure.
With diplomacy too slow and too soft, NATO quietly turns to deniable operators who can do what officials cannot be seen to authorise. A hand‑picked band of “wolves” is assembled, each with their own motive: cash, revenge, escape, distraction, or the sheer pull of danger.
Ten men are sent against a fortified garrison and a maze of near‑impossible obstacles, fully aware that some of them will not be coming back. Their leader, Lacier, is dug in like an outlaw in an eagle’s nest, shielded by sharpshooters and hunters who know the terrain.
The question is not only whether they can free the general, but what becomes of such men once their work is done and the politicians want clean hands. Silencing adventurers of this calibre proves almost as dangerous as the mission itself, especially with someone like Lacier refusing to be quietly erased.
