Synopsis

Based on Tristan Corbière’s poem, Le Mousse, The Cabin Boy is a portrayal of a dead fisherman’s family life, vividly expressed through imagery of the Mediterranean, using the sea and its surroundings to reflect the struggles, loss, and daily existence of the family left behind.
