Synopsis
Tom and Sukie arrive in Malta to spend the holidays with their father, an archaeologist excavating for a legendary golden statue of Calypso on the island of Gozo. When he fails to meet them, the siblings befriend Jiminy, a Maltese boy, and head to their father’s villa, where they overhear two crooks threatening him. After the children report the incident to the police, the crooks deceive the authorities. Escaping from danger, they make their way to Gozo to find their father’s colleague, but they are all captured. Just as the statue is about to be handed over to the crooks, Jiminy returns with an army of children who overpower the villains and deliver them into the hands of the police.
