Synopsis
After the death of her estranged mother, Mar plans to sell the farmland she has inherited and leave Malta for ever. While on her mission to find the land, she meets Nenu, an 80-year old folk singer, who challenges her desire to escape.

Did you Know
Director Alex Camilleri nearly canned the whole project as he struggled to find the right person to play Nenu. Fortunately, he was introduced to Nenu Borg, a għannej (traditional Maltese folk singer) who had not sang for over 15 years. Fortunately, Alex persuaded him to take the role and to make his big screen debut at the age of 82.
