Synopsis

Shea Andrews is about to embark on the trip of a lifetime to Malta with her best friend, Kristen. Unfortunately on departure day, Kristen pulls out of the trip after having a fight with her fiance. Shea decides to go ahead by herself. Heading for the same destination is Michael Foster and his recently jilted brother, Darryl. This trip was meant to be Darryl's honeymoon, and ultimately he decides he can't face the trip but insists that Michael goes by himself.

Shea and Michael are seated next to each other on the flight, where the bubbly Shea soon annoys the grouchy Michael. Once they land on Malta, they discover they're staying at the same hotel and the only two singletons around. During their trip, they keep bumping into each other, including on a trip to the Crystal Lagoon, which apparently you can drive to in this particular universe. After a small slip and a big leap, their relationship takes an inevitable turn.

Did you Know?

While Shea and Michael are meant to be visiting the Crystal Lagoon on Comino, the cliff top they are filmed on overlooks Cominotto and the Blue Lagoon. After Michael rescues Shea from her fall, rather than making ground on the island of Comino, he makes the two mile swim back to Malta instead.
