A calm, crystal clear sea with a ridge of limestone rising in the distance.

The Protectors consisted of Harry Rule, the Contessa di Contini, and Paul Buchet, three freelance troubleshooters operating an international crime-fighting agency. Based in London, Harry led the team, while the Contessa, living in Italy, also ran her own detective agency focusing on art fraud and recovering stolen art. Paul, stationed in Paris, served as the group’s researcher and gadget expert. Their missions spanned everything from straightforward kidnappings to complex cases of international intrigue.
