What's on in Gozo in February

It might still be winter but the cultural scene on Gozo definitely starts to hot up in February. For February means two things, Valentine's Day and Carnival, both of which are taken very seriously indeed. From the 1st February through til the 16th, there's a whole range of Love-themed events to keep you entertained. Then just as we wave Cupid goodbye, Carnival celebrations start on the 22nd. There's also a good handful of other events happening too, including a drive in movie night!

Valentine's Day Celebrations

Threads of Love

Practical Information

February is still outside the main tourist season, so some bars, restaurants and attractions might well be closed. It's always advisable to ring ahead and check. The weather can also be a little unpredictable and it is quite possible to have some beautiful sunny days that are followed by storms. We recommend checking Maltese Islands Weather before heading out for the day.
