Synopsis

Starring Shayne Ward, best known for winning the second season of X-Factor, as former police detective Jack Grayling, who is following his dream of becoming a cabaret singer. His current gig is on a luxurious cruise ship that sails around the Mediterranean, the real life MSC Virtuosa. Unfortunately his old skills are often called for as he investigates a series of murders on board along with the ships’ First Officer, Kate Woods.

First airing in 2023, The Good Ship Murder was recommissioned for two more series, plus a 2024 Christmas special.

Alas for the ‘Gozo’ episode, despite seeing glimpses of Mgarr Harbour, Ramla Bay, Marsalforn and a view of the Blue Lagoon, the actual action was filmed on Malta. The influencer party was filmed on and around Il-Bajja tax-Xama in St. Paul’s Bay and the boathouses are in Valletta.
