Gozo Pride 2026: Dates and Full Event Guide
Gozo Pride 2026 takes place on Saturday 5 September, organised by LGBTI+ Gozo, and runs through Victoria from morning market stalls to a late-night after-party. If you’re new to the island and wondering how welcoming Gozo is more broadly, we’ve covered that honestly in Is Gozo LGBTQIA+ Friendly? An Honest Guide for Visitors. The short version here is that Gozo’s own Pride week is real, established and growing every year.
What’s on for Gozo Pride 2026
Pre-Pride Boat Party
Sunday 30 August, 12:30 to 19:00. A day sailing around Comino, departing from Ċirkewwa on the Malta side at 12:30 and from Mġarr on Gozo at 12:45, with drop-off at both by 19:00. Tickets are 35 euros for the full day, booked through LGBTI+ Gozo.
Pride Village
Saturday 5 September, 10:30 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 22:00, Villa Rundle, Victoria. Stalls from LGBTQIA+ organisations and local artisans, plus resources and merchandise.
Pride March
Saturday 5 September. Congregate at it-Tokk (opposite Cafe Jubilee) from 6:30pm, with the march setting off sharply at 7pm up to Villa Rundle. Performances along the route from drag queen Olivia Lilith and Rebecca & the Passengers.
Pride After-Party
Saturday 5 September, Flamingos, Victoria. Sets from Trihanna, Sweet Boy, DJ Owen and DJ Haley.
Photo Exhibition: Pride Without Permission
Dates still to be confirmed for September. A photography exhibition by Ana Hastie documenting queer life on Gozo, sponsored by the Gozo Cultural Directorate.
Other events
4 September, Bell and Bastion: documentary screening at 18:30, open mic at 21:00. 5 September, Coffee Circus hangout, 13:00 to 16:00 (to be confirmed).
Top Tip: the march route runs between it-Tokk and Villa Rundle, both in central Victoria, so anywhere in town gives you easy walking access to the whole day.
Gozo Pride sits within the same fortnight as Malta Pride in Valletta, which runs from 4 to 13 September with its main parade on Saturday 12 September. If you’re on the islands for more than a few days, catching both is straightforward, just build ferry crossing time between Gozo and Malta into your evening.
We’ve also put together a small Pride merchandise range on our Etsy shop, and we’re donating a portion of every sale to LGBTQI+ Gozo.
