Synopsis

The Madame Blanc Mysteries follows Jean White, an antiques dealer whose life is turned upside down after her husband’s sudden death in a car accident, leaving her in financial ruin. With little to her name, Jean travels to the quaint and picturesque town of Sainte Victoire – portrayed by the stunning landscapes and historical architecture of Gozo. Determined to sell her last remaining asset, a neglected cottage, Jean soon discovers there may be more to her husband’s death than meets the eye. Teaming up with Dom, a local taxi driver and confidante, Jean delves into a series of intriguing mysteries that intertwine with the secrets of Sainte Victoire’s residents.

During its three seasons, including Christmas Specials, The Madame Blanc Mysteries has made extensive use of Gozo’s unique settings, capturing iconic sites that enhance the allure of the show’s fictional French town. Each series builds on Jean's journey, from uncovering the truth behind her husband’s death to immersing herself fully in village life, using her keen eye for antiques to solve mysteries that reveal the town’s darker undercurrents.
