Why Visit Gozo in June?
June is the month summer stops being theoretical and starts being real. The sea temperature hits its stride, the skies are reliably blue, and the Gozo Festa season is well and truly underway. Five villages celebrate their patron saints this month, and in between there’s classical music, folk dancing, a spectacular agricultural fair and at least one drone show above a church square.
June also sees the launch of our Gozo in a Day: Film & TV Location Guide on 1 June. If you’re planning a trip and love the island’s screen history, it’s worth a look before you arrive.
Check out our top picks for June below, and don’t forget: every Monday we publish a weekly round-up of events across our social channels. You can find us at @SceneOnGozo everywhere.

June in Gozo: Final Thoughts
June sits in that particular sweet spot where summer has properly arrived but hasn’t yet reached peak intensity. The feasts are building, the sea is warm enough to swim in, and there’s something happening most weekends without the high-season crowds of July and August. It’s a very good month to visit.
