I have often been asked by people who know of Gozo but haven’t spent much time here, ‘But what do you actually do on Gozo?’ In truth, the real question should be, ‘How do you possibly find time to do everything the island has to offer?’

If you’ve already visited our Gozo Events page, you’ll know there’s always something going on, no matter the time of year, but summer is when the island truly comes alive. From May to September, almost every weekend sees a different village celebrating its feast. Then add in beer, wine and food festivals, live music, and much more, with most events free to attend.

Summer in Gozo is a celebration of music, art, food, and community spirit.
Whether you’re a local or planning a holiday, the island’s calendar is packed with memorable experiences. Here’s your essential guide to Gozo’s biggest public events for July, August, and September 2025.
